Wills India Fashion Week baby day 2!





We saw a mixture of lovely trends on day two of fashion week

She was inspired by Ladakh with tiired dresses in gold with embellishments.

Rahul Singh

Had lovely resortwear, with flowy white floor length maxi dresses , blue scarves with patterns.on the ramp there were fitted jackets with skirts , in teal blue and bright blue.Crpped jackets were seen and maxi dresses with belts- very pretty!

Men with smart black jackets and bowler hats: black and white pant- suit combination, high waiste pants.There were silk dresses in floral and and lightweight fabrics.Satin and georgette dresses, and the coats and cropped jacket were very on trend!xo k

Ashima and Leena

Black and red used very creatively- Black maxi dresses with intricate tailoring and embroidery.The collection had lovely Sarees with red embroidery at its borders.My fav has to be the teal blue and gold saree!there were harem pants worn with Silver jewellery and accessories.Lovely Kaftans!

Charu Parashar

Asymmetrical dresses in orange and black.Silk knee length fitted dresses.The stand out garment was the floral skirt and bolero jacket combo.Dresses in lace and silk with embellishments were great .Colours used were greens , blacks, and pinks.The prints on the dresses felt very Royale, and there was a mixture of sheer fabrics used with satin and silk.

Kavita Bhartia

The chicest oufits – black tube tops with long f dori work and tribal influences on flowy dresses, short skirts, tunics and sarees.free flowing Indian skirts .Lovely intricate embroidery on Kaftans and dresses.

Ritu Kumar

A gorgeous mixture of western and Indian silhouettes.Lovely mirrowwork, Kanjeevaram sarees and pretty combination of purple and red and gold

Payal Jain

Used the elements the five elements- earth , water, wind , fire and void as the crux of her collection-Oranges and yellows

Rajesh Pratap Singh

Fluid strapless dresses in silk in colours like red and black with orange.On the ramp we saw lots of shift dresses in satin and silk.Very floral patterns and smart asymmetrical jackets.I liked the shift dresses made of silk with the beehive effect pattern!great attention to detailing.
